Online PR News 04-October-2020 Riverside, CA Tesselle is excited to announce the launch of Hedge Cement Tiles by Palm Springs-based artist, Jim Isermann. The Hedge collection offers a range of 4 color combinations, which can form a myriad of patterns, depending out the layout. Cement tiles are handmade, and can be used on floors and walls, and are ideal for installations in both indoor or shaded outdoor settings.

For over 30 years, Jim Isermann has crafted his style by taking post-war industrial design and mixing with fine art. His work, which most often employs the use of bright colors, creates a happy world where both art and design coexist, and has included countless gallery and museum exhibitions, commissioned art installations in a multitude of mediums, and licensed products.

Jim was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin; just south of Milwaukee. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin. While studying there, he developed a fantasy of California architecture, beaches and landscape as being artificial, after looking at David Hockney Paintings, and decided he that is where he wanted to be. Jim attended graduate school at the California Institute of the Arts, where he earned his Master of Fine Arts. After finishing graduate school, he lived on the east side of Hollywood, and then Santa Monica, before moving to Palm Springs in 1997.

Jim Isermann spends his time producing commissioned projects as well as studio work for galleries and museum exhibitions. In addition, he is a Professor of Art at the University of California, Riverside. Jim lives with his partner, David Blomster, and his dog, Happy.

Tesselle is based in Riverside, CA, and offers a range of exclusive and classic cement tiles and breeze blocks. Samples are available, and all items can be ordered from the Tesselle website. Tesselle serves architects, designers and homeowners throughout North America.
