1,742 more coronavirus cases reported in Qatar

The health ministry of Qatar said on Tuesday that 1,742 more patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country, which has increased the total number of coronavirus infections in the country to 47,207.

Qatar News Agency (QNA) quoted the ministry statement saying that 1.481 more patients have recovered from the disease as well, which has increased the total number of recoveries to 118,44 as two others have died, increasing the total number of deaths to 28.

Most of the newly diagnosed patients are expatriate employees who have been placed in quarantine after contacting earlier diagnosed patients.


The country has conducted a total of 196,411 coronavirus tests so far.
