Over 8,000 coronavirus cases reported in Japan

The health ministry and local officials of Japan said that the number of coronavirus infected patients in the country has gone over 8,000 on Tuesday evening, only a week following the deleration of an emergency state in Tokyo and six other prefectures in the country due to coronavirus.
 
The most recent figures showed that the number of newly diagnosed patients in the country increased 482, increasing the total number of infections across the nation to 8,173.
 
The figure included 161 newly diagnosed patients in Tokyo, the epicenter for the virus in Japan, 59 more cases were reported in Osaka.
 
The number of deaths due to coronavirus in the country cane in at a total of 174, including ones from a cruise ship that was placed under quarantine in Yokohama.
