(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BRUSSELS, April 7 (KUNA) -- Norwegian Institute of Public Health Tuesday announced that 10 more patients have died from with COVID-19 raising the total to 69 in Norway.
The average age of the deceased is 84 years (from 51 to 102 years) and 54 percent are males, it said in a statement.
The total of 5,863 people are confirmed infected with COVID-19 in Norway, an increase of 108 since yesterday.
Up to 3,301 cases were infected in Norway, 1,576 cases got the virus abroad. Moroever, 986 cases are awaiting clarification.
A total of 171 people are in intensive care with confirmed coronavirus. The average age for the confirmed 171 patients are 61 years and 76 percent are men. (end)
