Kuwait- Norway coronavirus cases up 240


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BRUSSELS, March 23 ( KUNA) -- The Norwegian Institute of Public Health announced Monday that 240 new cases of Coronavirus were detected in the last 24 hours raising the total to 2 , 371 cases in Norway.
The average age of cases is 47.2 years, 45.6 percent are women and 54.4 percent are men.
One more patient has died from Coronavirus in Norway raising the number to 8.
And 380 patients have been admitted to hospital with confirmed coronavirus, with a total of 45 patients have been admitted to intensive care with confirmed coronavirus.
The number of admissions is increasing. Their average age is 61 years and 78 per cent are men, noted the Institute in a press release.
A total of 61, 251 people have been tested for coronavirus in Norway. (end)
