28.5 percent expansion in China trade with Myanmar

Data released by the Chinese customs on Tuesday showed that the trade of China with Myanmar has increased 28.5 percent since the earlier year in 2019 to set at USD17.71 billion.

An official with the General Administration of Customs, Huang Guohua, showed that the exports of China to Myanmar came in at USD12.30 billion, a rise of 22.1 percent since the earlier year, imports increased 42.8 percent to set at USD6.38 billion.

The official said that the two sides are going to improve collaboration in jointly constructing the Belt and Road and develop main projects of the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor.
