(MENAFN) A huge explosion occurred in fire-cracker manufacturing factory in India's northern state of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday causing the death of at least six people and the injury of eight others.
"Six persons died in the blast. Eight persons were injured, out of whom three have been admitted to our hospital and the rest five referred to another district's hospital." as said by senior doctor at the local government hospital via phone.
The fire-cracker factory is placed in the state's Etah region; additional details of the incident are awaited.
