(MENAFN) Premium revenue in the Vietnamese insurance industry registered a 24.4 percent year-on-year jump to generate USD3.1 billion from January to July 2019.
On Wednesday, the Insurance Association of Vietnam confirmed a 27 percent boost in the volume of new insurance agreements to stand at 1.22 million during the seven-month period.
Insurance companies in Vietnam, the association revealed, paid customers USD448.6 million to mark a 30 percent surge with their overall assets locking USD18.4 billion to reflect a 19 percent raise during the first seven months of the year.
Vietnam's companies' re-investment into the economy climbed 26 percent to reach around USD14.9 billion in the period.
