(MENAFN - Brazil-Arab News Agency (ANBA)) São Paulo – On Saturday, May 11, the House-Museum Ema Klabin will hold the lecture 'For an ancient Egyptian identity: How to analyze the identity markers through history and archeology' with the archeologist Cintia Gama. The event runs from 11 am to 1 pm, and has opened registrations on the museum’s website . Seats are limited.
'The lecture will address how ancient Egyptians saw themselves through historical sources, in both archeological and text documents, comparing themselves with foreigners, the peoples they maintained contact with. Then, I will compare that with the image we no have of ancient Egyptians, and the current genetic researches that have been done on that people,' reported Gama in an interview to ANBA.
The registration fee is BRL 40 (USD 10). 'It will be a very affordable event for the general public and those interested in Ancient Egypt,' said Gama.

She has also a masters in archeology from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a major in history from University of São Paulo, Brazil, and was part of three archeological missions to Egypt.
