With the strategic investment of 28 new 747-8 jumbo jets, UPS offers sustainable lift on long-range international routes with a greater payload and a reduction of fuel consumption and carbon emissions. UPS recognizes its excellent relationship with UAE and Dubai Airports along with the UAE's position as a strategic international hub. In anticipation of the 45-day long renovation of the southern runway at Dubai International (DXB), UPS has been hard at work to ensure a smooth contingency plan whilst maintaining excellent service levels.
