Saudi entertainment sector needs USD71b


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia is looking to allocate USD71 billion of investments to establish an appropriate infrastructure for the entertainment sector.

A Flanders Investment and Trade report revealed that Saudi Arabia spending in the entertainment sector could stand at USD4.8 billion per year.

This comes following a declaration the Saudi General Commission for Audiovisual Media (GCAM) made of a plan to spend USD35 billion in cinemas over the next year.

Cinema Build KSA Forum is aiming to allocate half a million for the installment of 600 screens over a five-year period.
