DOHA: Qatar Steel, the leading steel and iron company in the State of Qatar and in the Gulf region, celebrated the Qatar National Day in the presence of the top officials including Managing Director & General Manager, the Division and Departments Managers and the company's employees at Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC) in line with this year's National Day slogan 'As long as it was proven by our deeds, Qatar will remain free, which combines a poetic verse from the Founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani and a verse from the Qatari National Anthem.
Mohamed Nasser Al Hajri, Managing Director and General Manager of Qatar Steel, said: 'The National Day is a great occasion to convey our sincere gratitude and reverence to the Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to His Highness the Father Amir, to the Deputy Emir and the Qatari Government, and to the people of Qatar and the residents of this sacred land.
On this precious occasion, with hearts full of good intent, I wish further progress and prosperity of the State of Qatar.
Al Hajri added that the National Day is an occasion to recall the great efforts, vision and achievements of the founder of the State, Sheikh Jassem bin Mohammed bin Thani, and the leaders who have sketched their steps in building the State of Qatar as a modern state that cherishes its identity, values and principles.
He added that our celebration of the National Day is an opportunity to renew our resolve to continue the achievements and make every effort to raise the nation and support the process of development and comprehensive renaissance and achieve more development, growth and prosperity for the people of Qatar. In addition to presenting the achievements and huge successes that have contributed to strengthen the State of Qatar at the international level as a model for comprehensive and sustainable development.
Al Hajri stressed that the celebration of Qatar National Day represents an occasion to strengthen for and renewing loyalty, promoting national values, and devoting the principles of love, peace and good to the world; he emphasized of being proud to belong to this benevolent homeland.
