Iran, Iraq discuss finalizing of railroad


(MENAFN) On Sunday, a consultant to Iran First Vice President Ishaq Jahangiri and Iraq's minister of transport debated accomplishing the railroad between Iran and Iraq.

Iran's Hassan Danaeefar and Iraq's Abdullah Luaibi debated the keys to increase reltions in transportation, which involved the achievement of the railroad from Khorramshar, southwestern Iran, to Basra, southeastern Iraq.

Approximately 30 kilometers of the railway has not been made yet, that according to the earlier pact, Iraq should complete it.

Reviving Iran-Iraq-Syria transportation line was another issue debated in the meeting.
