Qatar- Ooredoo's free data offer on money transfer returns

Doha: Ooredoo yesterday announced that, in response to popular demand, it has relaunched the Free Data offer on every International Money transfer via Ooredoo Money.

The relaunched promotion, which runs until December 31, 2018, rewards customers for using Ooredoo Money to transfer money internationally with free data bundles.

Customers who transfer money internationally via their Ooredoo Money account will now be able to use the bonus Internet data to take advantage of the speed and performance of the Ooredoo Supernet for free.

Ooredoo Money Customers simply need to make an international transfer to the value of QR1001 and above, using Ooredoo Money, to enjoy 750MB of free data valid for five days from activation.

Ooredoo Money is a simple, easy-to-use service offering essential financial transactions including international transfers, top-ups and data bundle purchases. Anyone with a valid QID and Ooredoo mobile number can register for an Ooredoo Money Wallet, and once registered customers can transfer money from any bank account in Qatar to their Wallet. Once the Wallet has funds, customers can then send international transfers, send money locally to any QNB Account and other mobile wallets, top up pre-paid Ooredo mobile accounts, pay Ooredoo bills, purchase data for their Ooredoo mobile and much more. Ooredoo Money can also be used to recharge international pre-paid numbers in more than 100 countries, or purchase data bundles and even pay bills in selected countries including India, Bangladesh and the Philippines.
