Sudan sends 3 livestock vessels to Saudi Arabia

(MENAFN) Sudan supplied three vessels carrying 47,000 livestock to Saudi Arabia, as part of efforts to boost animal exports between the two countries.

Saudi Arabia and Sudan established a joint technical committee aimed at tackling export challenges, as confirmed Al-Sadig Fadlallah Sabah Al-Khair, State Minister at the Ministry of Animal Resources.

Both countries decided to decide on the priority of communication in the Veterinary Quarantine Department, seeking to examine the threats imposed on the field.

The committee also decided to assess the process for the return of vessels, Al-Khair stressed, noting that Sudanese cattle exports are facing obstacles over Saudi internal processes.
