Jordan Ice and Aerated Water Company Ltd. Silver Sponsor of Samsung Amman International Marathon 2018
(MENAFNEditorial) Promoting exercise and a healthy lifestyle within the local community, Jordan Ice and Aerated Water Company Ltd. - a joint project with PepsiCo in Jordan - offered Silver Sponsorship for the Samsung Amman International Marathon 2018 for the seventh consecutive year. As the Marathon’s official and exclusive distributor of bottled water, the Company provided race participants with its pure drinking water, Aquafina.
The Marathon, organized annually by Run Jordan, took place on Friday 12 October, 2018, drawing wide participation from local community members of different age groups and physical abilities. The event included a 42-km marathon, a 21-km half-marathon, a 10-km fun run, as well as special races for participants with special needs and visual and motor impairments. Moreover, a children’s race was held one week prior to the main event on Friday 5 October, 2018.
On this occasion, General Manager of Jordan Ice and Aerated Water Company Ltd., Eng. Nidal Hamam, commented, “Sharing a common vision with Run Jordan, we strive to take part in this prominent event every year in order to support the sports scene in the Kingdom and raise a generation of professional runners. Besides presenting running enthusiasts with the opportunity to enjoy their favorite sport, the Samsung Amman International Marathon is closely aligned with our commitment to building a physically active and healthy society.”
