Qatar- Remove all goods from shelves imported from blockading countries: Ministry

Ministry of Economy and Commerce has asked shops and commercial complexes operating in the country to remove all goods imported from blockading countries (Saudi Arabia, United Arabic Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, and Egypt) from the shelves with immediate effect.

The inspectors of the Consumer Protection Department at the Ministry will visit shops and commercial complexes across the country to ensure the said goods were removed.

The instruction was made in a circular dated May 26, 2018, from Assistant Undersecretaryfor theConsumerProtection Affairs at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, SheikhJassim bin Jabor Al Thani to all shops and commercial complexes.
