Emirates follows Etihad to suspend flights to Qatar
(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) UAE : Diplomatic rift between Gulf Arab states with Qatar deepens further with Emirates' decision to suspend flights to and from Qatar.The Dubai-based airline said on its website today that flights would be suspended until further notice starting Tuesday. Another Dubai based budget carrier -Fly Dubai has also announced a similar decision . Earlier this morning Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates cut diplomatic ties with Qatar over its alleged support to Islamist groups and relations with Iran.
Though Qatar claims that there is 'no legitimate justification' behind such steps.
