US net neutrality vote demanded to be cancelled by web figures

(MENAFN) A controversial vote has been called for to be revoked by a number of leading pioneers in charge of building the internet.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is to make a decision within this week on repealing a law that shelters "net neutrality" which was founded during former President Obama administration.

The open letter read the following: "It is important to understand that the FCC's proposed Order is based on a flawed and factually inaccurate understanding of internet technology."
