Facebook: Ad repair before 2018 US elections


(MENAFN) According to the company's chief technology officer, FB Inc has started changing the way it deals with political ads on its platform and might change a few things before 2018 US elections.

The elections give a time limit of sorts for Facebook and other social media companies to improve deterring any kind of election interfering that the country accuses Russia of.

The company's CTO said: "We are working on all of this stuff actively now, so there is a big focus in the company to improve all of this on a regular basis."

The company will also employ another 1,000 people to review ads and make sure they meet its terms.
