Construction of Makkah's Abraj Kudai to be resumed
(MENAFN) Saudi reports confirmed that work on the largest hotel projects in the world in Makkah, the USD3.5bln Abraj Kudai, Saudi Arabia will be resumed.
Earlier in 2015, the work on the project was paused after a decline in oil prices and the austerity measures announced by the government.
However, sub-contractors were asked to submit their pricing proposals to Saudi Binladin, the main contractor by mid-September.
One of the largest construction firms in the country, Saudi Binladin, was hit hard by a fall in the building sector caused by economic fall.
