(MENAFN) A Syrian official says a second round of rebel evacuations from the central city of Homs is under way.
Homs governor says 120 men and their families are expected to depart Al Waer neighborhood by bus as part of an arrangement to restore government authority over the rebellious district.
The government is permitting food and medical assistance to enter the besieged neighborhood in exchange for the evacuations.
An earlier group of more than 100 fighters and their families were evacuated from the neighborhood last week.
