Kuwait- Guatemala honors amb. Hayat for boosting ties
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to the United Mexican States and non-resident Ambassador to Guatemala Sameeh Jawhar Hayat was honored by President of Guatemala Jimmy Morales for his efforts in boosting ties between the two countries.
In a ceremony held at Guatemala's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hayat was presented with the country's highest award of excellence (Order of Antonio Jose de Irisarri) in recognition of his efforts to develop bilateral relations mainly in economy, culture, politics and trade, said Kuwait Embassy in a statement on Thursday.
