Nissan to inject USD70m in investments in Egypt


(MENAFN) Nissan Motor, the Japanese car maker, is set to inject a total of USD70 million in investments into the Egyptian marketplace in 2016, the company's CEO in Egypt and North Africa said, Amwal Alghad reported.

The company has recorded a sales volume of about 28.927 vehicles in 2014, and is presently looking forward to increase the volume up to 30.000 by the end of financial year 2015-16, the CEO added.

Moreover, the CEO urged the government to announce its policy to develop auto industry as soon as possible as well as the mechanisms to encourage investors to exist in the Egyptian market effectively.
