(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 16 (KUNA) -- Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Hamid Al-Azmi will sponsor a conference and exhibition entitled "Educational Technology .. A Future Vision" organized by Kuwait Public Relations Society (KPRS) on December 2nd.
"The development of education has become one of the fundamentals to be relied on by development plans of the world countries amidst the development and technological revolution in the world, so it is necessary to keep pace with this development to serve the educational process and develop it," Jamal Al-Nasrullah, KPRS' chairman, told KUNA Monday.
He pointed out that the conference, in which many local and international educational institutions are involved, stems out of keenness to build a comprehensive strategy for education in Kuwait in cooperation with educational institutions and related parties and to develop and benefit from electronic curricula in the educational system in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
Al-Nasrallah explained that the conference seeks to benefit from information and communication technology and electronic education in the integration of people with special needs in society in cooperation with associations of non-profit public societies and evaluation of Arab and foreign experiences and practices in the applications and content of e-learning.
He pointed out that in light of the importance of the role of public relations in the ministries and institutions of the state, the conference addresses the issue of modern technology in institutional communication and their role in the work of strategies to build effective communication and how public relations can design and build communication programs to qualify public relations to reach international quality in performance.(end).
