2018 World Cup: Neymar begins training with Brazil national team

(MENAFN) Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has returned to training with Brazil as the national club started practicing for the World Cup to be held this year in Russia.

The Brazilian footballer has undergone a surgery after being inflicted with a fractured fifth metatarsal in his right foot late February, preventing him from playing since he is in the process of recovery.

The iconic forward has been subjected to a range of routine physical tests ahead of concluding an hour of ball practice at Brazil's Granja Comary training base in Terespolis.

Brazil national team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar confirmed that Neymar is in process of becoming fit for Brazil's first World Cup game on June 17 against Switzerland.
