Oman- Third monthly Scrabble competition organised


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Scrabble players in Muscat participated in the third Muscat Monthly Tournament of 2018. Megel Barker was crowned as the champion with a peerless display, winning all his games. In second place was veteran Aussie Paul Richards, fresh from his exploits in Malta followed by the constantly improving Junaid Kardame.

The junior section was won by Nabeeha Kardame followed by Morgan Barker and Krish Pawani. In a stunning display in the junior section, Nabeeha, won all her games outclassing her rivals.

Muscat Monthly Tournaments are typically small-scale Scrabble events that welcome players of all ages and ability. Played in a friendly atmosphere, it provides an opportunity for competitors to develop their craft and gain competition experience in Muscat. Each month, the event is held at a central location under a strict tournament format, with points added to the Oman Rating system.
