(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia was confirmed to have closed a fitness centre for women located in Riyadh after a promotional video emerged of females in figure-hugging workout attire.
Saudi sports authority chief Turki al-Sheikh posted on Twitter, stressing that "we are not going to tolerate this," as he demanded the suspension of the center's license.
The chief further ordered authorities to open an investigation on the matter and bring people who are responsible to court.
Media adviser to the royal court Saud al-Qahtani also commented on how Saudi Arabia was heading towards "moderation without moral breakdown".
