(MENAFN) Orascom Construction joint venture with UAE's Al Sahraa Group has won a USD180 million contract for the Fujairah International Airport expansion project.
The extent of the project is to cover the establishment of the main infrastructure of the airport expansion.
It is said to include the construction of a new air traffic control tower, expanding the runway and airport systems along with further facilities in the airport.
Orascom Construction was confirmed to have owning a total of 60 percent shares in the joint venture which was awarded the contract.
