Massachusetts: woman dies in knife attack


(MENAFN) Authorities confirmed the death of a woman who suffered from serious knife injuries after an attack inside a public library in Massachusetts.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan declared that the accuser, allegedly Jeffrey Yao, aged 23, attacked the woman, 22, from behind while she was sitting in the reading room of Winchester Public Library.

The length of the knife is 10 inches as the suspect stabbed the woman several times, reports say.

Ryan added that another woman, aged 77, was slightly injured in her arm as she was attempting to help the girl amid the violation.
