DOHA: QIC Insured yesterday announced a new initiative to simplify car registration process for customers.
QIC Insured, the leading insurer in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region, has partnered with the Traffic Department to make car registration renewal easy and hassle free.
With the new service, customers can now renew their car registration by taking out insurances at the Traffic Department.
Officers at the Traffic Department will now be able to access QIC Insured's portal to get real time updates on the status of the insurance. This is an extension of the already available free service offered to all customers. QIC Insured employees visit the Traffic Department on behalf of customers for renewing the car registration.
'With digitalisation, the perception of the insurance industry in the eyes of the customer is changing. In keeping with this trend, we at QIC Insured are consistently focused at facilitating convenience and making it easier for customers — right from buying insurance online to simplifying car registration process, said Ahmed Al Jarboey, Senior Claims Manager.
'With the launch of the new service, customers can simply renew their insurances while they are at the Traffic department. No need to navigate traffic to visit our branches to take out insurances and arrange documentation. All can be managed real-time, digitally and seamlessly.
