Employee behind Hawaii missile alert was '100% sure' of credibility
(MENAFN) The employee who accidentally pressed the button for a false missile alert to be sent and cause an unimaginable terror in Hawaii has confirmed that at the time, he was"100% sure" the alarm was real.
He also declared his state of mind to have shattered after the grave error, as he is experiencing an appetite loss and trouble sleeping.
Ever since the Emergency Management Agency employee made the mistake on 13 January, Hawaii has been overwhelmed with trials of its alert capabilities.
"Ballistic missile threat inbound to Hawaii. Seek immediate shelter. This is not a drill," is the line which started the saga when all cell phones, radio and TV stations in Hawaii received it.
