(MENAFN) The country has held back the ban on importing some kinds of cheese, such as Stilton, Danish Blue, Roquefort and Gorgonzola.
The ban that was imposed last month, was because the bacteria used to make the cheeses wasn't allowed in China.
After Quarantine officials met with European Union officials the country decided to stop the ban during the weekend, and imports can resume right away.
In an attempt to avoid further bans, The EU Delegation and the French Embassy are arranging a technical seminar between European and Chinese experts to try to renew standards.
