Airbus to partner with Bombardier

(MENAFN) European plane-maker Airbus will be having the bigger share in Bombardier's C-Series jet project.

Bombardier had some issues over the plane, most lately a trade disagreement in the US that imposed a 300% import tax.

CEOs of Airbus and Bombardier said the deal in which Airbus buys a 50.01% share, would participate in boosting sales.

Business and economics editor of BBC said Airbus had successfully taken control of the project in a transformational deal, and that it will use its financial power in acquisition and sales, as Bombardier's manufacturing will presume making the planes.
