Konzept, IFP Egypt, AAPIC, Informa organise largest food industry event in Africa

Konzept Exhibitions and Events Management, IFP Egypt, Arab African Promoters for International Conferences (AAPIC), and Informa Exhibitions announced the organisation of the largest food industry and agricultural crops event in Africa between 22 and 24 April. The conference will be held at Cairo International Conference Centre (CICC), where the 3rd 'Food Africa' exhibition will simultaneously take place with the 6th 'Africa Food Manufacturing' exhibition to form together the largest gathering of food industries in Egypt.

The event will cover six major sectors: food industry, agricultural crops, seafood products, production inputs, food manufacturing technology, and packaging.

The event will take place in a space of 17,000 square metres, with the presence of more than 500 exhibitors representing the largest Egyptian manufacturers of food, food manufacturing technology, and packaging.

Among the most prominent Egyptian companies participating in and sponsoring the activities of the Food Africa exhibition is Samo Trading, which has become one of the leaders in the food industry through its brand Abu Auf. Makarony Polskie, one of the leading companies in the field of pasta and jam in Poland, is also set to participate.

The event will also include international participations from more than 30 countries, including Italy, Spain, Poland, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, India, Greece, Nigeria, and Kenya.

The organisers are putting together a trade mission in cooperation and coordination with the Egyptian Commercial Service Office to host more than 500 foreign importers with the purpose of enhancing and increasing exports and promoting Egyptian products in the targeted markets. Among the most important countries being hosted are Kenya, Sudan, Uganda, South Africa, Senegal, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Algeria, Tunisia, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, and France, as well as importers from other targeted markets, such as Eastern Europe and the Far East.
