Volvo to recall trucks in China over oil cylinders faults

(MENAFN) Volvo Investment Co., Ltd., the Chinese subsidiary of Volvo Group, will recall 23 of its imported heavy trucks due to defects in the hydraulic oil cylinders, Xinhua reported.

The recall, starting from July 15, will involve imported FM, FH trucks manufactured between Sept.1 2014 and Jan. 20, 2015, the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said.

The affected tractors may have defects in the hydraulic oil cylinders and, if not repaired, the bolts of the cylinders could eventually fail, causing safety problems, according to the administration.
