(MENAFN) Qatar Electricity and Water Co (QEWC) posted a profit of about USD95.06 million in the first quarter of the year, marking a 15.7 percent increase, compared to 2014's period, Reuters reported.
QEWC, which is the sole utility firm in Qatar, said that its profit increased from USD82.05 million recorded back in the corresponding period a year ago.
QEWC chose not to disclose any information regarding its revenue or any other fiscal data for the quarter. Analysts forecast that the firm's quarterly profit will be USD83.3 million.
