It is an incumbent on the state to take care of these workers and protect them, so as to contribute positively in the renaissance and the development in Qatar. The government is well aware that work-related incidents and injuries cause huge losses to the global economy, noting that it is estimated that the costs of these accidents and injuries is about four percent of the global GDP
