meanwhile al wahda’s international defender ahmed al kamali said his injury is no worry and themedical examinations which he has carried out revealed that he needs three to four weeks rest and treatment.

“there’s nothing to worry about and no major operation is needed. i was afraid that things could be worse after being replaced in the first half of our clash against armenia” al kamali said.

in the meantime al kamali will be subjected to rehabilitation programme within the uae or abroad in coordination with al wahda club before returning to the pitch to continue his march with his club and the national team during what he expects to be a very exceptionally tough season.

“the training camp in switzerland is well planned and the environment is positive. the surroundings are beautiful and the programme is convincing thanks to the ideal dealings of the technical and administrative staff. the players are very close to each other and living like brothers” he added.

regarding the performance of the uae players against armenia he said: “apart from the final result of the confrontation we were able to know what should be done to improve the performance. the players are determined to change the image of the team against georgia and hopefully they will be able to do better. our ambitious are so big and looking forward to improve our international fifa ranking” he said.

“we are truly delighted to see the team preparing for many friendlies during the months of august and september against strong sides in the caliber of norway belgium and morocco which would be great benefit for the team and the players who will face highly regarded squads. this is the best preparation for the gulf cup (khaliji 22) and the afc asian cup finals 2015” he noted.

however the 25-year-old hamdan al kamali is a key player in his club and the national team. he made a strong presence with the olympic and senior national teams at the regional continental and international arenas besides playing in the fifa club world cup in 2010 and the afc champions league with his club al wahda. last season he played 23 matches making up to 2062 minutes in play.
