Kuwait Amir Receives Call From Syrian Pres.

KUWAIT, March 1 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Sunday received a call from Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa following the heinous Iranian attack on Kuwait.
During the phone conversation, the Syrian president voiced vehement condemnation and denunciation of this atrocious aggression as a violation of Kuwait's sovereignty, international law and the UN Charter.
He also reiterated Syria's support for the State of Kuwait and all measures it is taking to maintain its sovereignty and security.
His Highness the Amir voiced much thanks and appreciation to the Syrian president for his support for the State of Kuwait. (end)
