Zelensky Discusses Ukraine's Most Urgent Needs With New Dutch PM


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Zelensky stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"I congratulated the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Rob Jetten, on taking office and wished him success and decisive steps," Zelensky noted.

He thanked the Netherlands and the Dutch people for their strong support of Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion.

The leaders discussed Ukraine's most pressing needs: missiles for air defense systems and energy equipment. Zelensky expressed gratitude for the Netherlands' readiness to help protect the lives of Ukrainians.

"We also spoke about negotiations to achieve a dignified peace and the importance of security guarantees. I value the principled support for our positions and the readiness to help in every possible way," Zelensky said.

The leaders agreed to meet in the near future and to work on projects that could strengthen both countries.

"I am grateful to the Prime Minister for his attention to Ukraine since the very first day of his tenure," Zelensky emphasized.

As previously reported, the new Dutch government headed by Prime Minister Rob Jetten took the oath of office and officially began its work.
