Doha, Qatar: A telephone call took place between His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Dr. Abbas Araqchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the call, the two countries reviewed cooperation relations and ways to support and strengthen them, discussed the latest developments in the region, and a number of topics of common interest.
His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's support for all efforts aimed at reducing escalation and peaceful solutions that enhance security and stability in the region.
