'May God Protect Him': UAE President Congratulates Dubai Ruler On 20 Years Of Leadership

In a heartfelt post, UAE's President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed congratulated Dubai's Ruler on completing 20 years of leadership on Sunday, January 4.

"In honour of 20 years of my brother Mohammed bin Rashid leading our government, we celebrate his inspiring record of achievements and future-focused vision that continues to advance the UAE's growth," said the leader about Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, under whose leadership the city has prospered across various fields, from space to culture and much more.

"May God protect him as we work together in pursuit of progress and development for our beloved nation and people," added the President.

Sheikh Mohammed's son and Dubai's Crown Prince also took to social media to appreciate his father on the special occasion in a heartwarming post.

"Thank you, Mohammed bin Rashid. You will always be the father, the leader, and the source of inspiration we look up to. With unwavering determination, you have built a proud legacy for the nation, guiding its progress and inspiring hope at every step. You have always believed in the people of the UAE, recognising human potential as the nation's greatest wealth.

"Your visionary leadership has turned ideas into global achievements and challenges into opportunities. Under your leadership, the pursuit of excellence and ambition has become part of the nation's spirit, instilling confidence and hope that the future will always be brighter," wrote Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who also serves as the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

The leader's son, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, also wished his father and praised his wisdom and vision, while sharing a video showcasing his history.

"We celebrate twenty years of governance and wisdom for Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who achieved the impossible, and through his vision and leadership created a new reality for Dubai, the Emirates, and the region, so that the economy doubled, the Emirates rose to the forefront of nations, and Dubai became a global center for trade and business, and a platform for exporting the future and shaping it.

Twenty years in which time was shortened for the benefit of humanity, quality of life advanced, security was entrenched, tools changed, circumstances transformed, and the most important constant remained: Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his vision that shapes tomorrow."

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Presidential Court, also congratulated the leader.

"Twenty years of giving, during which Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid built an advanced governmental system that preceded its time, and made the UAE a success story to be emulated in governmental excellence. During his 20 years, Dubai witnessed the establishment and growth of some of its major attractions, achievements and facilities like the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Metro, Expo 2020, UAE Mars Mission and the Golden Visa among others.
