Erdogan Strongly Condemns Gaza Violence
(MENAFN) The mass killing that has claimed over 70,000 lives in Gaza reflects a serious breach of the principles enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, according to Türkiye’s president on Wednesday.
A statement from the Communications Directorate cited Erdogan on Human Rights Day, noting, “Unfortunately, the atrocities in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories continue, despite all the efforts of the international community.”
Erdogan further emphasized that achieving a just and enduring peace in Gaza requires reinforcing the ceasefire, which Türkiye helped to establish, along with the implementation of a two-state solution.
