Al Shira’aa Riders Continue to Shine in the Butheeb International Show Jumping CSI2* Grand Prix
(MENAFN- Dark Horse Communications) The Al Shira’aa Show Jumping Team celebrated another outstanding performance this weekend at the Butheeb Equestrian Academy CSI2*, where the riders claimed 1st, 2nd and 4th place in the €56,800 Grand Prix.
In front of an enthusiastic crowd, Omar Abdulaziz Al Marzooqi and Enjoy De La Mure produced two flawless rounds to take victory in a lightning-fast 37.01 seconds. Teammate Abdulla Al Marri secured 2nd place aboard BBS McGregor, clear in 37.73s, while Salim Ahmed Al Suwaidi and Cjoxx Z completed the team’s dominance, finishing 4th in 39.16s.
Duncan Inglis, Assistant Trainer at Al Shira’aa, praised the team, noting that “the results we’ve seen across the first month of the UAE season are a testament to the hard work of our riders and the world-class training structure established by Al Shira’aa. To see them all competing and performing with such consistency under pressure is incredibly rewarding.”
Omar Al Marzooqi, who piloted Enjoy De La Mure to first place, expressed pride in both his horse and the wider team, stating “It’s always special to win on home soil and to do it with teammates right beside me on the podium makes it even better. The system we have at Al Shira’aa keeps pushing us to aim higher every week.”
This performance continues a remarkable run of form for the team, which also achieved multiple podiums in the Al Ain CSI2* Union Cup and the Virtus International in November. Together, these results reflect the growing strength of the UAE’s show-jumping scene and underlines the depth of Emirati talent developing under the guidance of HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
