MTB Signs Agreement With EWU For Payroll Banking, Cash Management Services

(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka: Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) recently signed an agreement with East West University to provide comprehensive Payroll Banking and Cash Management Services for the latter's teaching and non-teaching staff as well as for its students.

Professor Dr Mohammed Farashuddin, Chairperson, Board of Trustees, East West University, and Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of MTB, formally exchanged the documents at a ceremony held at the East West University campus in Aftabnagar, Dhaka.

Under the arrangement, MTB will collect the university's tuition fees, facilitate all payment-related services, and provide payroll banking solutions for the university's employees.

Professor Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor; Professor Dr Mohammad Ashik Mosaddik, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Air Cdre Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury (Retd), Treasurer; Mashfiqur Rahman, Registrar, and Md Touhidul Islam FCA, Director of Finance, were present on behalf of East West University.

On the other hand, Md Shafquat Hossain, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking Division; Tahsin Taher, Head of Retail Segment; Mohammad Ashik Iqbal Khan, Head of Cash Management, Transaction Banking; and Rashid Ahmed Bin Wali, Head of Payroll Banking; along with other senior officials were present from Mutual Trust Bank PLC.
