Two Policemen Martyred, Four Injured In Terror Attack On Armoured Vehicle In D.I. Khan
Two police personnel were martyred and four others injured on Thursday when a remote-controlled explosive device targeted an armoured vehicle of the Tikwara police checkpost on Hathala Galoti Road.
According to police sources, the armoured vehicle was on routine patrol when a roadside improvised explosive device detonated near Kadi Malang.
The blast killed the vehicle's driver Ramzan and Constable Saifur Rehman on the spot.
The injured include Havaldar Shahid, Constable Mehboob Alam, Constable Asif and Constable Kifayat who were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.

It is worth mentioning that late last night two brothers were shot dead by unidentified assailants in Panyala.
Police said the bodies had been moved to the hospital and an investigation was underway, while the victims' relatives staged a protest outside the local police station.
