My PhD research explored sustained climate policy underreactions in Aotearoa New Zealand through the lenses of risks, rights, and responsibilities work focused on policymakers and how they framed climate action, as well as how their philosophies translated into strategies and policy programmes.

I currently teach into Te Herenga Waka / Victoria University of Wellington's Masters in Climate Change Science and Policy programme, alongside Professor James Renwick (atmospheric scientist) and Assoc Professor Gerhard Reese (environmental psychologist). I teach course on International Climate Policy, Aotearoa and Pacific Climate Issues, and Climate Adaptation.
