Dubai, UAE, 3 November 2025: As part of its mission to promote knowledge and culture, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library will organise an exceptional lineup of events throughout November.

The schedule features a diverse range of cultural, artistic, and educational activities that combine art, thought, and inspiration, catering to the interests of various segments of society.

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library kicked off its November events with the Flag Day celebration, during which the UAE flag was raised in the Library in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Al Murr, Chairman of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library Foundation, along with board members and employees.

The Library will organise a visual and digital arts program, starting with an art exhibition called Claude Monet Days: Light as We've Never Seen It Before. In collaboration with Arts Have a Title, the event will celebrate the iconic French artist Monet, the pioneer of the Impressionist movement. The exhibition will feature paintings by more than fifty artists. There will also be a creative workshop for impressionist art enthusiasts called What if Color Became Light?, by the artist Magida Nasreldin.

As part of its mental and physical health program, the Library will host a morning yoga session, as part of Dubai Fitness Challenge (30×30), in cooperation with Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism, to spread awareness about mental and physical balance.

Under the Empowering Minds program, the Library will hold a self-development workshop titled Achievement Mindset, by Dr. Nabil Bin Ashour. The session will focus on practical tools for turning intentions into actions, and ideas into real accomplishments that drive meaningful change.

Furthermore, the Library will hold a special evening titled The Identity of Place and the Spirit of the People, to celebrate over five decades of Abdul Qadir Al Rais's artistic journey. Al Rais blends Arabic calligraphy with modernist and symbolic art, rooted in Arab and Islamic heritage

On World Diabetes Day and International Men's Day, the Library will host a health awareness campaign in collaboration with Dubai Health Authority. The campaign will include medical check-up stations focusing on nutrition, oral health, and eye care, along with an online awareness lecture by Dr. Yahya Hamdan, addressing health practices that enhance men's well-being at every stage of life.

For cinema enthusiasts, the Library will hold Cineolio Cinenights featuring four short films from Mexico, Bangladesh, the United States, and Russia. The screenings will include: The Cats (2016) by Alejandro Ríos, One Upon a Time in Wari Batishwar (2025) by Rajib Rafi, The Sea Runs High, One (2021) by Evgeniya Korchagina, and Shadow (2024) by Kamell Allaway.

On 25 and 26 November, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library Theatre will host the Emirati-Italian Film Festival, La Dolce Via, which aims to promote Emirati and Italian cinema, foster cultural exchange, and empower local talent through an integrated training program that includes workshops and film screenings, with a focus on developing students' skills. At the end of the festival, the best Emirati student director will receive a scholarship to study in Italy.

As part of a global initiative aimed at promoting Polish literature among communities around the world, and in collaboration with The Polish embassy in Abu Dhabi, the Library will organise the Polish National Reading Event. The Dubai edition will host Polish students from Fraza Language Training Center, who will present a selection of poems by the Polish Renaissance poet Jan Kochanowski, including his renowned humanist works and his cycle Laments-written after the death of his beloved daughter Urszula. The event will also feature the students' teachers and representatives from the Polish Embassy, offering a rich cultural experience that combines literary appreciation with theatrical art, and contributes to strengthening cultural exchange among communities in Dubai.

The Library will end its November activities with the Union Day Festival, a large-scale community celebration combining entertainment, culture, and family-friendly engagement in a joyful seasonal gathering.
