I am an educator and researcher committed to creating inclusive learning spaces that foster critical thinking, meaningful dialogue, and student empowerment. I enjoy supporting students in developing their writing, speaking, and analytical skills in English, literature, and business communication.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes curiosity, confidence, and community building,both within the classroom and beyond. When I served as a coordinator for Colllege Communications, I led curriculum development focusing on equity, accessibility, and student-centered learning.

My research at the University of Toronto explores how neoliberal reforms have reshaped the landscape of higher education, particularly for international students. Through this work, I examine systemic barriers and highlight the resilience of students navigating these challenges, advocating for more just and inclusive policy solutions.

I enjoy reading and writing about topics in higher education (policy, pedagogy, open educational practices, literature etc.). I co-authored Communication Commons, a free, open-access academic English e-textbook designed to support diverse learners:
